Last month, the hospital I work for fire me because they said I am such a terrible medical technologist. Because of that, I was left with no job and with no money to buy food, pay rent or even buy booze, which is something I can’t live without. Because I had to have money to buy food, pay rent and buy booze, I decided to apply as a teacher in one of the universities in our city. When I applied for the job, the dean of the college of science laughed at me because he said I am not someone they expect to teach such a confusing course as medical technology.
I was offended by that but was challenged at that same time. Since I wanted to prove to them that I could teach medical technology very well, I gave them a demo of what I can do as a teacher. After my brief demo, they were so impressed.

I have been working my way up in this company. I started small, as most people do. Now, I am very successful. I am really proud of myself for all of the work that I have done. However, now, some of the tasks that I have to do are very difficult. Today, I look at a project manager resume. I am the one who ultimately decides who the next project manager is going to be. I am very nervous about this decision. I want them to be somebody who is a quick learner and is fast paced. I also want them to be detail oriented and I want them to have some expertise. It is very hard for me to know exactly what to look for. This resume looks great, but I have known plenty of people who look great on paper and terrible in person. I am hoping that I have the wisdom to make the best decision.

But the most important thing that we have to do is to make sure that the job that we do is something that we like.

The good thing about looking for contract engineering jobs is that even now there isn’t a shortage of positions that companies need to fill. I’m in my thirties and I never even considered that Id be laid off from the company I had worked for ever since I graduated. Then they laid off the entire department and moved everything overseas without even giving us advance notice. I was a nervous wreck at first, with two kids at home it wasnt like I could afford to stay unemployed for long. Fortunately it didnt take me long to find work again, this time with an aerospace company helping them to design new and more sturdy landing gear for jets. I’m even making more money then I had been in my last job. So if you are out there looking for work, don’t give up, that next job could be right around the corner.

First responders do not always get the attention and the recognition they deserve. The EMT and the paramedic often put their own lives in danger to help others in needs. After a disaster the people who risked their lives to save others will often have many human interest stories done about them and will be put in the limelight that they deserve. When the disaster is done and peoples lives have returned to normal, the stories of heroism also fade into the background. It is the daily lives of the first responder that should be focused on more often. They provide medical care to people that helps save lives on a daily basis and many people are not aware of this. If a person has a medical emergency they know they can pick up a phone and someone will be there to help them. It is something that is often taken for granted and is something that should get more attention. It is not something that just happens during a major disaster, but is something that happens every day.

In order to offer the services and advocacy that they do charities are really dependent on getting good people for Charity Finance Jobs. I never really set out to work for a charity. I was a young graduate looking to my mark in the world like so many other young graduates. But I was having trouble landing a good job. I was looking online for finance jobs and just happened to come across a website with several listings for charities that were looking for finance people like myself. Once I did start working for a charity it really did open my eyes. These people do a lot of good work and they do in on shoe string budgets too. The dedication and desire to help their fellow man really got to me I guess and I’ve never regretted working for charities. I help them to get the money they need to save lives, it just doesn’t get any better then that.

Ever since the economy has gone downhill, there has been a severe lack of employment in New York. I was let go from my job unfairly, and I have been searching for a job for the past six months. The only jobs that I can find are dead end jobs that will not allow me to get anywhere in my life. I a qualified to work some place better, such as in a good quality white collar environment. The job that I had was paying me a whole lot of money, and I was also receiving good benefits. Now, I am receiving nothing at all. I am uninsured, and I am living on unemployment, which I might and does not pay much at all.
I hope that something comes through soon. I do not know how much longer I will be able to live like this. Something good has got to happen sometime.

I’ve been hired doing quantity surveyor jobs for ten years and was away that long from my family. I miss them so much. Sailing on a huge ship, in the middle of the vast ocean with no body to turn to but my co workers who are missing home as well.
It’s not easy. The hard part is the waiting. Counting day after day, month after month until our coming home nears is painful. But the joy you earn knowing that your sacrifice has brought forth financial stability in your family is worth it. I know that my children are proud of me and they understand why I had to be away.
It’s just sad when everytime you come home, they appear older and older and it suddenly occurs to me that I’ve missed a lot on their childhood. I wasn’t there when they needed comfort, when they needed a Dad to lean on to. It hurts but I have to set priorities.

I was looking for receptionist jobs available in my area and could not find anything. If I did find something, I would submit my application and would never hear back from anyone. I started to think it was my resume so I had it professionally done. Well, I still wasnt getting anywhere. I had been out of work for 8 months and was desperate. Then I found jobs on this site that weren’t listed elsewhere and now I have two interviews next week. I am so excited. I can’t say how happy I am that I finally got out of the traffic jam of job seekers in those other sites and came to this one. It is amazing to me that after just a few days, I landed two solid maybes. Now, if I could just start getting a paycheck again, I will be very happy. I highly recommend this site, especially if you have been looking awhile.
